Happy Thanksgiving to our Sunnyside Families!  We are thankful for the time we get to spend with all of our students!

Thank you School Council for your continued support.  Our students loved spending time with our Artist in Residence Jackie.  

Here is a reflection from a grade 4 student in Ms. Lang's class:

"Jackie is an inspirer!  Jackie taught me how to do lots of dances like woman's jingle, men's warrior, snake, round, hoop dancing and more.  She taught me to follow my instincts and listen to my body.  My favourite part of her teaching us was the hoop dancing and the snake.  I really enjoy when she plays different songs and we have to guess what dance it is.  I LOVED warmup, you have to think a lot for it."

• Pajama Day!  We are celebrating passing our fundraising goal for Terry Fox!  Students and staff can wear their PJs and bring a small stuffed animal.

Friday, October 13

• Regular Friday - noon dismissal for grades 1 to 6, no Kindergarten classes
