About Sunnyside School

We are a small, intimate community learning environment that supports the whole child. Teachers, as mentors, provide students with rich, diverse learning tasks that are student-centered and interest-based. Our teachers honour all aspects of each child's needs: personal, emotional, intellectual, physical and social. Students learn 21st-century life skills, such as collaboration, problem solving, and global and self awareness. The arts, outdoors and technology are all embedded in scaffolded, cross-curricular learning.
