At Pre-Kindergarten Educational Services, our programs are child-centered, recognizing that each child is unique. We offer 3 different program types:

Passages Pre-Kindergarten for children ages 3-5

The Pre-Kindergarten curriculum fosters learning and assists in smooth transitions to Kindergarten. We support “learning through play,” focusing on early literacy skills that give children a fundamental advantage when entering Kindergarten. Our teacher-facilitated thematic programming incorporates both in-class and off-site activities. Pre-Kindergarten is a well-balanced program which addresses all areas of a child’s growth; social, emotional, physical and cognitive. Each day provides opportunities for centre time, a daily art/craft opportunity, music and movement. The program is further enhanced with field trips and in-class presentations.

Quest Kinder Care for children in AM Kindergarten 

This program runs in conjunction with your child’s 1/2 day Kindergarten class, enabling your child to stay at school for the duration of the regular school day. The “Part-Time“ option offers care Monday - Friday during regular school hours. The “Full Time” option offers care Monday - Friday during regular school hours, with additional care before and after regular school hours. A typical day in Kinder Care provides opportunity for centre time, circle time, a daily art/craft opportunity, music and movement. The program is further enhanced with field trips and in-class presentations. 

Odyssey Out of School Care for children in grades 1 - 6

Children in Odyssey OSC have the option to attend Before Care Only, After Care Only, or both Before and After Care. We incorporate the best of both thematic programming and open-ended, child-led opportunities. Program supervisors plan thematically, but also take children’s interests into consideration throughout the planning process. Special programming on holidays and Professional Development Days, as well as field trips are included on a sessional basis.
