Registration at Calgary Board of Education (CBE) schools is not determined on a first come, first served basis. Registration and admission to schools in CBE is governed by the Education Act and Administrative Regulation 6090 | Child and Student Registration and Admission.
2024 - 2025 School Year
This year we will start with 1 AM kindergarten classes. These students attend Monday to Thursday from 8:40AM to 11:50AM. There are no kindergarten classes on Fridays. If the number of registrations of kindergarten students increases in the fall, we may consider hiring an additional kindergarten teacher and opening an afternoon class or having 2 teachers in the morning.
What does my child need for kindergarten?
Kindergarten children need to bring a backpack that is large enough for their snack, water bottle and library books. Please also put a change of clothes into your child's backpack for unexpected events. Please label everything! You do not need to send school supplies. We will purchase all of the things your child needs with the Instructional Materials fee you will be charged in the fall.
