Students and teachers enjoyed taking their learning outside this week in the nice fall weather.  Make sure your child is prepared for some wintry weather next week so they can have more fun outside!

Lunchroom Expectations:

Most of our students eat their lunch at school and enjoy playing with their friends outside supervised by lunchroom staff and teachers.  Students have been reminded this week that the lunchroom expectations are similar to what their teachers expect in the classroom.  Please take some time to review the attached document.

Supervision at School:

Students are supervised by school from 8:30 to 3:30 on Monday to Thursday and 8:30 to noon on Friday.  

If students come to play at the playground after school or on weekends, their parents are responsible for them.  The Student Code of Conduct applies to students at school, on the way to and from school and when they are on CBE property.

Our office hours are 8:00 to 3:30 on Monday to Thursday and 8:00 to 12:30 on Friday.  If you need to reach the school staff outside of these hours, please send an email or leave a voicemail message.

• Halloween at Sunnyside School on Tuesday, October 31: 
  • Students are welcome to wear costumes, black and orange or even their pajamas!  
  • Please no violent or scary costumes, no masks or weapons.  Please no inflatable costumes.  
  • Students should be dressed comfortably enough to participate in all class activities.
