A big thank you to the school council for organizing the Halloween Dance. It was nice to see so many of you there.  

Halloween – You're Invited! 

A Halloween Pumpkin Parade and Dance Party is being hosted by Kindergarten on October 31. Families are invited to a pumpkin parade and dance party!  

• Please see the following information from Mrs. Boyer: 
  Students can wear a costume to school on this day. Please, no weapons, masks, anything very scary, or costumes that will obstruct learning. You can also wear orange and black, or no costume at all! All are welcome.  

When

11:00 AM Oct 31 the parade will commence. Parents can arrive at 10:55 AM and line the courtyard to enjoy the parade. It will start with kindergarten who will go to Grades 1/ 2, then to Grade 3/ 4 and finish with Grades 5/ 6. All students will parade into the gym to look at all the pumpkin display and enjoy a few fun dance songs together as a school. *Parents for the gym portion please stand around the horseshoe of tables so students can sit and stand in the middle.  

How this Works

During soft start from 8:30 AM-8:40 AM on Thursday, your child is invited to carefully bring their carved or decorated pumpkin into the gym coming through their regular entrance doors. Your child can bring it home at the end of the day. If your child goes to OSC, they will support students with the drop off and pick up pumpkins. 

How Can You Help?  

Volunteers are needed to: 

• Wednesday October 30 at 3:00 to set up tables and décor. in the gym. 
• Thursday October 31 from 8:25-8:45 to facilitate pumpkin placement in the gym 
• Thursday October 31 3:30-3:45 to put tables and décor away
