Sunnyside Weekly - November 3, 2023

Reminder: Daylight Savings Time happens this weekend.  Remember to turn your clocks back 1 hour on Sunday morning!

Have you ever asked your child what they did at school and got the answer "I don't remember"?  This month at the School Council meeting, we discussed ways that parents can learn more about their children's experiences at school.

Each week, parents receive an email from their child's teacher describing what has happened throughout the week.  Parents can also check their child's Google Classroom for more information and things to do at home. This information will give you a starting point for conversations.

I will also start sharing a Talking Tip for parents each week.  It will be a question that parents can ask their children to get more information about their lives at school.

This week's Talking Tip is What is something that you were proud of this week at school?
