Sunnyside Weekly - November 23, 2023

What makes Sunnyside sunny?

All students contributed to this sun that represents our school community.

Here are some of our students' answers:

  • Kindness
  • Teachers
  • Friends
  • Field Trips
  • Everyone's welcome
  • Technology
  • Community
  • Playground

We look forward to welcoming our families to Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences tonight or tomorrow morning.  Please remember to bring your child with you.

Reminder: There is no school tomorrow, Friday, November 23, because of conferences.

Talking Tip

This week's question for parents to ask their children about their experiences at school is: What was the best part of your day today?

Staffing Update

This week we say goodbye to Mrs. Heric who has been teaching one of our kindergarten classes.  We wish her all the best and hope she can come back to Sunnyside soon!

Welcome to Ms. Courtney DeGeer who is joining our team as the new kindergarten team!  Ms. Degeer's first official day will be on Monday, November 27 but she has been spending time getting to know the class this week and will meet parents at conferences.
