We are having a Scholastic Book Fair at Sunnyside school from December 5 to 7.  Buy some books for holiday gifts and support our school at the same time!

Here are the important dates and times:

Tuesday, December 5 

• Students will go to the Book Fair with their classes and preview the books.  They will go home with a wish list to show their families (no money is needed today).

Thursday, December 7:

• Students that bring money will be able to shop at the Book Fair during the day.
• Parents are welcome to shop "kid-free" between 2:30 and 3:30PM.
• Parents can pick up their children after school and shop from 3:30 to 4:30PM.

***Please note that there are no longer online sales so the only opportunity to shop is at the school.

Volunteers:

We will need some volunteers to help Mrs. Lewis, our library assistant, with the book fair.  Please email Mrs. Schmitt at kaschmitt@cbe.ab.ca if you have up-to-date police clearance and are able to volunteer for any of the shifts below:

• Monday, December 4 (set up):
  • 9:30 to 11:30AM
• Tuesday, December 5 (preview):
  • 9:30AM to 12:00PM
  • 1:00 to 2:00PM

• Thursday, December 7 (shopping):
  • 10:30AM to 12:00PM
  • 1:00 to 2:30PM
  • 2:30 to 4:30PM

• Friday, December 8 (pack up):
  • 9:30 to 11:30AM
