There are several fundraising activities taking place this month. Please see the updates below for more information.
Art Cards by Kids Fundraiser
The final day to place Art Card orders is Wednesday, April 23.
If you would like to place an order but have misplaced your child’s art card sample (with the code on the back), please contact your classroom teacher—they will have a copy.
Candy Bags Fundraiser
This Thursday, School Council will be supporting Grade 5/6 students in selling $3 candy bags to raise funds for the upcoming outdoor school field trip.
Fun Lunch
If your child has ordered a Fun Lunch but will be absent, please include your preferred plan in your absence notification to the office (sunnysides@cbe.ab.ca) and/or your child’s classroom teacher.
Options may include:
- Sending the lunch home with a sibling or friend
- Storing the lunch in the fridge for pick-up the next day
- Donating the lunch to another student
Bottle Drives – Trickster Theatre Residency Fundraiser
The following grade teams will be hosting upcoming bottle drives in support of the K–Grade 6 Trickster Theatre Residency:
- April 30: Hosted by the Grade 5/6 team
- May 21: Hosted by the Grade 3/4 team
- June 18: Hosted by the Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 teams
