Hello June! We are excited to spend the last month of school participating in whole-school events such as our Fun Run, Spirit Days and Activity. We will also be celebrating our volunteers and our grade 6 students. Please take a look at the important dates below.
Fun Run
On Monday, June 3 at 9:00AM, all students will be participating in the Fun Run, sponsored by EverActive Schools and organized by Ms. Chilton and the EverActive Club. The run will start on the school field at 9:00AM and we will run around the neighbourhood until about 9:45AM. Volunteers and grade 6 students will be marking the checkpoints around the route. Please ensure that your child is dressed in clothing and shoes that are easy to run in. Wear bright, sunny colours and show your school spirit. Parents are welcome to cheer along the route or at the school field. Here is our route.

Spirit Days:
In collaboration with some grade 4 and 5 students, we have come up with a Spirit Day each week until the end of the year.
Monday, June 3 - Be Sunny Day - dress in sunny (bright) colours and running clothes!
Tuesday, June 11 - Beach Day - dress in tropical clothes, bring a beach towel for a picnic lunch if the weather is nice!
Tuesday, June 18 - Pajama Day
Wednesday, June 26 - Sporty Day - For Activity Day, dress in your favourite team's colours or show some support for your favourite country by wearing their colours (the Summer Olympics are coming soon - which country are you cheering for?)
