Celebrations:

This week we celebrated our amazing support staff.  We appreciate what they do to contribute to our school.  Thank you to the Environment Club for decorating the staff room!

We also celebrated our earth by taking action to take care of it.  Students created art with recyclable materials, learned outside, picked up garbage, walked or wheeled to school and more!

Thank You:

Thank you School Council for funding the online parent presentation about digital literacy.  I hope many caregivers were able to listen.  I learned that a good strategy to support children in using technology in a balanced way is to have them sign a contract that they have helped to create.

Grandparents Reading Program:

We have begun training some grandparent volunteers.  These wonderful volunteers will begin reading with some of our younger kids next week.
